Passing through Confluence is the 150 mile Great Allegheny Passage bike trail which is part of a continuous non-motorized 334 mile corridor from near Pittsburgh to Washington, DC. Plan a bike trip on the Great Allegheny Passage and be sure to include a stop at Confluence. If you are hungry you can stop for a meal at one of our eating establishments. If you need supplies there are two food stores, a pharmacy, a hardware store and a gas station with a convenience store. If you need overnight accommodations we have eight Bed & Breakfasts, one guest house, one campground and three rental houses. All business establishments listed are located in the valley convenient to the trail.
Trail
Etiquette
Visitors to Confluence: Once you leave the trail and enter into
the town, please respect and regard local traffic. Town streets
are not bike trails and cyclists are encouraged (by law!) to
abide the rules of the road. You are now a "vehicle" and should
proceed single file, with traffic. Stop at stop signs. Don't
ride on sidewalks. Be considerate when you chain your bike.
Treat the town properties as you would want visitors to treat
where you live.
